On June 5 of 1998,
date which reminds us of the “Occupation of Palestine and its capital
city Eastern Jerusalem”, the twelfth “Olive Tree for Peace”
was planted in Salta city as a Palestine sign which reflects the wish of peace
and the end of occupation.
The Palestine Ambassador was given “The Emblem of the City” by
the Governor and he was also named “Illustrious Guest” by the
city Mayor.
