Palestinian Headquarter is Inaugurated

The first Palestinian headquarter in Argentina will be inaugurated today with the presence of president Carlos Menem, in the frame of the celebration of the Palestine National Day.
The new diplomatic headquarter, which will be inaugurated at 19.30, will be located in Riobamba 982 in this Federal Capital, according to what was informed by ambassador Suhail Hani Daher Akel by means of a press release.
The diplomat also said that it was foreseen, for the act, the presence of the elected president Fernando de la Rua, to whom he desired a “quickly health recovery”.
Besides, it was said that the first Palestinian headquarter in Argentina “ is a contribution of the national Government” and it will be “a propitious place for those people committed to the peace of the braves, the peace between Palestinians and Israelis in particular and the peace in Middle East in general”.
During the act, the inaugural ribbons will be cut, the allusive plaques will be unveiled and it will be presented the book “Palestine 2000, History of a country in its Landscapes, Music and Poetry”.
In this way, it is fulfilled an old desire of the Palestinian community which lives in our country, since Palestinians will have a right place where leave their questions and find a fast solution to their problems.
